As I mentioned in my last post, it is busy season. Between being by myself with the girls all day and them back to taking naps at different times, my only spare time has been in the evenings, and frankly, I haven't had the energy to use that time to write on my blog. So . . . it has been a while since my last post (and I was finally almost caught up).
We haven't been up to too much, but I have been trying to do some structured activities with the girls as this really helps the day go by a lot faster and with less whining.
I bought a preschool activity book and Katelyn and I have been going through that when we get a chance if Brooklyn sleeps at a different time than her. Yesterday she worked on the letter 'H' and the number '2'. She has also improved significantly at tracing lines and is starting to work on making letters. She loves learning at this point.

We did a couple of activities at home. Katelyn glued different things to the letters of her name. Brooklyn just ate the cereal that we used. No pic of the final project, but she did enjoy this one.
We've been playing outside a decent amount as the weather has been nice.

We also made necklaces with food items (I made most of Brooklyn's).
We got a large package in the mail and the girls enjoyed reading in the
box. Katelyn brought her blankets and pillows to get comfy.

We put tape in the door frame and threw paper at it. Didn't work very well, but it still entertained Katelyn for a good half hour.

That's a glimpse into our everyday life. Or at least what I wish it would be like everyday. In reality, I don't always plan an activity and we get a little bored and quite cranky and probably watch a little too much tv.
